Hi All,

Change tracking is active in my production system for some important fields as per the business requirements.

I am aware that change tracking reduces the system performances. is archiving the repository and deleting the change tracking information the only way to keep the system performance up? if their is any other way to keep the system performance up what is it?

Regards

Hi Sandhya,

you are right that the system performance will be reduced if we have enabled the change tracking but it is important also.

Here you can have a look at few other parameters which could be helpful in enhancing the performance of the system.

1. Try to keep less number of values in lookup tables and qualified lookup tables (<10000).

2. Number of text values in the Taxonomy Tables should not be more as this puts a lot of pressure on the MDM server and reduces the performance drastically. This is one of the major factor.

3. You can include Tuples in place of Qualified lookup tables as MDM server takes more time to produce the search result from a qualified table.

Hope that this will be helpful in your project to tackle the performance related issue.
