Hi! We encountered a weird situation here. Few weeks ago, we extracted the XML file using MDMGX for product groups. The XML contains the code and text description. When we repeated this today, the text description no longer exists and we are quite sure that we extracted the information from the correct system as the filename has the correct description with the system name. We have not made any changes to set up in MDMGX.
In general, the set up in MDMGX are:
1. Object Type - an entry called Catalog
2. Define Repositories and FTP servers - we only maintain fields like Log. Repository Name (Repository), Object Type (Catalog), Repository Name (Repository), Remote System Type (SRM System), Languages (EN), and Timeout (20)
3. Maintain Ports and Check-Tables - we did not make any changes. Current setting is as below:
Client: 080
Remote System Type: SRM
Object Type: Catalog
Port Name: LT_ProductGroups
Language independent fields for selection: Key
Language dep. Fields: Langkey,Name
Function Module XML: MDM_COMM_PRODUCT_GROUPS_EXTR
We then Start Extraction to download locally. The file is downloaded but we only have the Key but not the text.
Has anyone had this problem before?
