Whats the difference between ERP 6.0 and NetWeaver 7.0

How to find out which version is currently using in a system.

I have checked System -> Status

Component version showing is ECC 6.0

Other component version are as follows;

SAP_ABA 700 0014

SAP_BASIS 700 0014

PI_BASIS 2005_1_700 0014

ST-PI 2008_1_700 0001

pl, help me to identify is it netweaver 7.0 or ECC 6.0

when browsing for EHP versions it shows,

SAP EHP1 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP EHP2 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP EHP3 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0

SAP EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0

AND

SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

SAP EHP2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

so, im confused which EHP version to download and continue

Whats the difference between ;

AND

SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

what is the most recently available EHP version for ECC 6.0 and Netweaver 7.0

Same Way as you mentioned ..System information ...You are on ERP 6.0 SR3 which is based on NW 7.0

Latest for ERP is SAP EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0 & for NW is SAP EHP2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

This information you will find in release notes , component we will look is for BASIS and ABAP .

But if you have upgraded full stack all component should be in sync .

Still suggest you to go through the documentation available in service market place and even in SDN for better understanding.

I suggest you to go through service.sap.com/netweaver for more details about SAP NetWeaver. You can find the documents on different SAP NetWeaver releases.

In one line SAP NetWeaver is a platform where you can install other applications ie ECC, SRM, CRM, SCM etc...

No, SRM, CRM, ECC are applications not add-ons.
