SAP PI Alerts issue

Hi All,

We are facing an issue when we configure alerts in SAP PI using transaction ALRTCATDEF. After the configuration is done, then i checked transaction code SLG1 and see the following error.

"Alert category does not exist".

Please let me know if anyone had this issue and what was done to resolve this,

Hi All,

I m currently facing an issue with the alerts configuration in my project. Though the messages coming in/out of PI layer are getting executed sucessfully we are still getting alert mails for those messages.All the messages are sent asychronously.

Alerts are configured for BPM , Integration and Adapter Engine for the following cases.

1) incorrect data sent in the message

2) end system not available.

Yes, it already exists there.

You have to create Alert catergory in Runtime work bench, have you created?
