Printing of custom Barcode in SAPscript

Dear Experts,

I have created in new custom barcode ZEAN in SE73 and incorporated in SAPscript.

When printed barcode is NOT printed . But when I include the standard SAP system barcode

it prints.

Could you please advise how to print this custom barcode.

Hi,

Did you create the custom barcode with the type new barcode technology? Previously, the new bar code technology was only supported with smartforms. It was not supported with sapscript. There has been a recent development to correct this. If you apply SAP note #1558595, then the new bar code technology will also be supported with sapscript.

Thank you for your replies. As far as I know it is not possible to print barcodes with SAPScripts using common laserjet printers, unless it has a DIMM module.

Since Smartforms is a newer technology I'm converting the printing form to a smartform. Barcode printed at the first try, but now I'm dealing with another smarform issues.
