CRM link to DMS R/3

Hello,

We are storing documents using SAP DMS R/3. We also have CRM in place in a separate landscape.

We want to link the DIR's (of few doc types) created in DMS to objects in CRM. What configurations needs to be done to achieve the same.

Hi Atul,

Yes,its possible to process DMS documents from CRM UI provided an RFC connection between the systems is established.This is maintained in SAP IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Content Management > Maintain RFC connections to PLM.

Hello

We have maintained RFC link from CRM. When linking do i link to CRM objects from DMS or link DMS DIR from CRM?

If i have to link to CRM objects from DMS, in configuration i do not get CRM objects (like std SAP objects e.g. WBS, Activity etc).

If i have to link to DMS DIR from CRM please explain as to how do i do it.
