I guess, if you define your equipment as PRT & assigned in Production routing, also if the usage value in terms of formula has been defined in routing for these PRTs, while doing confirmation, you can get the Measurement documents for the run hours.
Just it is interpreting the Performance based plan, based on Measurement document value, you can form the logic to find the workload of the equipment.
As mentioned in earlier post, you need to go for Z development.
Check for some user exits for Production confirmation, so that you can create the measurement document for the qty confirmed.
By having, run hours & qty which has been produced, equipment efficiency can be arrived, I guess.
