sales order in reference to contract by default

Hello all!

I know that the standart SAP behavior while "create with reference" from va01 is to show all possible docs based on which I can create my sales order. For sales order by default we have quotation.

Do you know if it is possible to change this screen and make contract by default?

It should be possible to create sales order in reference to any of these docs, but contract should be by default instead of quotation.

Hai Skally,

In sales order : Create with reference icon runs

Program Name SAPLV45C

Screen Number 0301

To make Quotation as Default

Ask your abaper to change the screen Number default from 0301 to 0302

Program Name SAPLV45C

Screen Number 0302

Hello,

Go to VOV8, select your Order Type.

Under General Control, there is a Box for "Reference Mandatory" - Here enter G - "With reference to a quantity contract"

This setting will make sure that any Sales Order (of this Sales Order Type) will be created only with reference to COntract.

I dont need order to be created only with ref to contract. I need to see contract tab by default instead of quatation tab ( it still should be possible to create order with ref to contract, quatation, order) when press ' create with ref' in va01

Hello,

That (Create with Reference) screen is SAP Standard & I believe you cannot cange the default from Quotation to Contract.

You can try with SHD0, but that too will not make Contract Tab as Default.

You will have to go for some Z-Screen Development

Hi,

In VOV8, change the field Reference mandatory with needed value.
