Negative Cumulative ATP

Dear experts,

System is allowing me to confirm sales orders even though the stock is not available. Availablility overview, CO09 transaction showing cumulative ATP in negative. How do I avoid this error? Sales order should not be confirmed when there is no stock or scheduled production.

Any suggestion or comment? Help is much appreciated.

Dear Nagarajan,

First please make sure your ATP is on in the following 3 transactions:

OVZ2

OVZG

OVZ8

Scondly, in OVZ9, check if you have set flag "check without RLT". If you don't set this flag, any quantity can be confirmed after RLT which will lead to negative Cum ATP qty.

Finally check note 153355. it tells you how to correct negative ATP qty.

Hello Nagarajan ,

In general negative Cumulative is caused by not having locks. An over confirmation can happen if you dont have soft or hard lock. So please ensure you have locks set on OVZ1/OVZ2.

As for stock getting confirmed, Please check if you are using RLT. If you are using that then stock will be confirmed regardless of the stock situation.
