Hi Chinnaiya,

Note: refer below before uploading image into MIME repository
Image should be converted into .ico format and size 16x16 or 32x32 before uploading image into MIME repository.

For converting image into .ico format
Favicon is a small image that is displayed left of the URL in the browser's address bar and also with bookmarks. It visualizes the URL to the specific web page with the defined icon. Favicons are images of the size 16x16 or 32x32 pixel in the Icon format (image/x-icon) and files have an .ico extension. A favicon has a default name favicon.ico and is by default located in the root folder of the web server. If no favicon is found, the browser sets a default icon.
Thanks,
Somi

Hello Chinnaiya,
I know that its possible to change the favicon for all the web applications in the server. I read it in some thread that if we change the favicon.ico file in the web server's root folder then it will be reflected for all the applications in the server.
but for chaning the favicon for individual webdynpro applications, I doubt.

The source from the WIKI would not work for WDA since it requires referencing the favicon from within the HTML head section.
From 7.02 and on SAP does set the favicon to the SAP Logo for WDA. The favicon is not currently designed to be customer configurable.
Finally, in ABAP 7.31 we've the application parameter WDFAVICON to reference favicon. Check out help at Application Parameters and URL Parameters.
