question about communication channel idoc

Hello every one.When I am in XI configuration(xi--->R3(idoc)).config a communication channel. adapter type idoc . receiver.

who can tell me which rfc should I fill in the RFC Destination (The RFC in XI or The RFC in R3),and which port (The port in XI or port IN R3)

it makes me very muddle

Hi,

You will be using XI to send IDOC s out to the R3 system.

So in the IDOC Adapter , you need to mention <b>the RFC Destination and port created in XI for the R3 system</b> in the transaction SM59 and IDX1 respectively.

Hi Zhicheng ji,

The Port and the RFC destination in the communication channel are those in XI. These details can be obtained from the txn IDX1 in XI.
