SAP Login Time increased for user

Hi Guys,

We have created a new role and when that role is assigned to a particular user that sap login time for that user has increased to 2-3 mins.When we remove that role the login time is again back to normal.

Hi,

If the role has a large number of user menu items it can slow down logon.

SAP Note 203617 - High memory consumption with Easy Access menu

talks about 1500 items.

Large roles also cause large roll-in wait times.

2-3 minutes sounds very long though.

Check out details in STAD and see where time is allocated to.

Yes I am agree with Tony.

You can do one more thing -

Go to St01 and activate the trace for that user id. find the trace log file , after that you will get better idea where is the problem. also Please paste the log.

Dear Abhishek,

What do you means about SAP logn time in the query.

Is it login time out time or starting login time.

The SAP login time is not dependent on user and role level , it is based on SAP server level and we need to set the profile parameter value.

Hi,

Login time here is the time when the user enter his SAP-Id and password and hits Enter to the first screen that comes for the user.
