BW NW 7.3 short dumps when deleting data

We are trialling BW7.3 and have experienced persistent short dumps when deleting all data from existing information providers (DSOs and Cubes). That is, information providers that were created in the old version of 7.3 and subject to the upgrade.

When deleting all data, the sequence of events is that BW initially short dumps. It then deletes all data, but does not recognise the deletion on the manage screen. That is, the request IDs remain on display, eventhough all data has been deleted from the table.

Information providers that are created afresh in BW7.3 do not suffer the same problem.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or able to refer us to a note that will rectify the problem?

Hello Frederick ,

I got the following notes in regard to BW 7.3 issues:

Note 1377274 - Obselete PSA for new segmented datasource

Note 1489064 - DataSource problems after BW upgrade from 7.0 to 7.3

I guess this will help resolve the issue with the data deletion process from the InfoProviders.
