Tcode SCC4 no shows options "New Entries" and "Copy as"

Excuse my bad english initially.

Entering the user sap*

The problem is that when you run the transaction SCC4 and pressed the button "Display -> Change" does not show both the "New Entries" button as the button "Copy as".

The goal is to create a new client but the problem mentioned above can not get it.

Thank you for your cooperation, I expect prompt response.

good morning

First thanks for the responses.

And tell them that I tried creating a new user with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and I do not work.

I tried the user DDIC and I do not work out.

How to create a new client I have it pretty clear as I have previously created on other servers a new principal.

My problem is that pressing again the button "Display -> Change" the button "New Entries" or the "Copy as" are not displayed, preventing me to create a new client.

Hi Matt,

check if your user have activity 03 for auth group SS in S_TABU_DIS

It should be ACTVT=02 to get change access..

I hope this helps you little bit...I am not security expert.

Also have a look on the below link

Dear Mant,

I think this is authorization problem ->

You can try two important things.

1. go to SU01 and create new user with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW. and after that login through this new user and check.

2. Also check the DDIC and SAP* permissions through SU01 .

3. Go to Authorization tab in your created user and provised complete activity access.

Also check in SM12 , if there is locked entry then delete it for this respective client.

If your problem will not resolve for this reply then paste the error again like any popup message after pressing the display-change button.

Hi,

1) Create a user with copy of DDIC user in 000

2) then login into 000 with the new user.

3) you will be able to create a new client wit that user.

Once new client is created you can login into that client with SAP* user and with password PASS.

Let us know if you are facing any issues.

Hi Youth,

Can you try that Logical System Entry through BD54. then you have try that Client creation. As per above said guys set the SID Instance Profile value =0 for login/no_automatic_user_sapstar then you should restart the MMC service & Server.

Hello mant,

First show the exact issue you are facing.

Is that a IDES system or prod environment.

1.You need to have authorization to create a new client.

2.If it is a test server then you can go ahead and create a new user with full authorization,sap_all & sap_new in su01

profiles tab.Now save the user and use this newly created user to create a new client.

3.After client creation use sap* in that newly created client and password will be pass.

4.Do a new entry in RZ10, login/no_automatic_user_sapstar - 0

Now thats it you can use new client

Hi,

It should allow to create a new client after going in change mode in scc4.

Also you can try -

scc4 --> edit --> new entry.

Another way is - > first create a any user in 000 make a exact copy of sap* and check the profiles , provide sap_all and sap_new.

Now try to create the new client entry with new user.

for the client copy process you can choose local client copy in a system.

Thanks and Regards
