SAP ISU - Accounting entry - Transaction EK02

Dear All,

When I try to add a G/L Account No. to a Sub-transaction (Transaction EK02), I have this error message :

u201C

Transact. 0050 G650 in CC 9852 div. 5S is statistical; do not specify G/L accnt

Message no. EK203

System Response

Processing is cancelled, because specifying a G/L account for statistical postings would cause an inconsistency in the system status.

Procedure

Check whether it makes sense to use the statistics indicator.

u2022 If so, delete the specified G/L account for this transaction.

Because statistical postings are not posted to the general ledger, no account is needed.

u2022 If not, delete the statistics indicator for the transactions for IS-U/IS-T.

In order to establish the necessary Customizing settings, choose either | or | in the function list.u201C

The error message explains exactly the problem and the solutions. Statistical postings do not get general ledger postings, so you cannot specify the details in EK02 for them.

Either change the statistical indicator (TE305) or do not enter the account.
