difference between usage and non usage of NWBC from GRC prospective

Hi

we have GRC 10.0 server. and i would like to know what is the difference between accessing GRC screens with NWBC, and from normal sap gui....

please post your comments.....

That's easy to answer - there is no SAP GUI UI to AC10

You can either use NWBC, or use the NWBC UI from a web browser (it's HTML based).

So while there is no need to roll out NWBC (as long as you don't want to make use of the NWBC features like SSO etc.) you will need to direct users to a UI different from SAP GUI.

Hi Kevin

My understanding is that no one will have access to SPRO other than administrator .So all GRC admin related activities will done by SAP GUI (SPRO ) and as administrator he will have access to NWBC also .

Where as other user like functional consultant , compliance officer etc need not to do any admin related task hence do need access to SAP GUI and can do their tasks from NWBC .
