Hi, gurus!

Situation:

Planned orders are transferred from SCM to ERP.

I carry out conversion of planned orders to production orders manually.

The system gives out the message:

Please carry out (multi-level) planning run for material xxx first

Message no. CO639

What is the problem?

The material and all its components have status MRP Type X0

That is now I need to run MRP-planning in ERP?

Hi Timofey,

As you said, the material and all its components have status MRP Type X0.

So, these components need to be planned in APO and not in ECC.

Even if you have a MRP run in ECC, it will not plan anything in ECC as MRP type is X0.

You may consider running multi-level heuristics for planning material as well as its components.

What is happening right now is, it is planning only finished material and its components are not getting planned. Hence, the system is giving such message.

Can you explain me why field "Scheduled finish" and "Scheduled start" on header of Planned Order(Planned Order changed in ERP tr. MD12) are inactive?

Planned Order was created in APO, ATP-check hadn`t been executed

Yes, I understand it, therefore I was confused also with the message which has given out ERP.

I used SAP_PP_002 heuristic.

What heuristic are you recommending?

Hi,

Generally in APO, only header materials will be planned and those planned orders of header materials will be transferred to R/3. You will not have any planned orders for BOM components. In R/3 you need to run MRP ( Multi level) for all components,

System considers the planned order which transferred from APO and generates dependent requirements and also planned orders for all the components.

Please Run MRP for using MD02 transaction and try to convert planned order to production orders.

I run tr. MD02, new planned orders isn`t create.

Сonversion of planned orders to production orders still are impossible.

The system gives out the same message:

Please carry out (multi-level) planning run for material xxx first

Tell me please, have I create planned order for all BOM components for ERP?

Or I doing this operation in APO?
