Dear Experts,
We have a MTO scenario with repetitive manufacturing process. We are confirming the Good receipt using planned order and MFBF t.code. For a material we are using inspection type '04' and activated the 'Inspect by
configuration'.
Under master data Class characteristics have been assigned to MIC.
The limits are being mentioned in the variant configuration during creation of sale order.
After running MRP we get the planned order and GR is done using MFBF
transaction w.r.t Planned order.
Inspection lot is created but the specifications are not getting copied to the inspection lot.
We have gone through the note 119708 but was not clear if the same is applicable for the above scenario.
Please suggest a suitable solution for the same.

Hi Srinivas,
After assigning the Class characteristics to the MIC check whether the material specification in QS61 is maintained for the particular material code.
If not you have to maintain

We are using Inspection plans and not Material specifications.
The Inspection plan is successfully created.
Even if you do not create Inspection plan or material specs ,it will not affect much.Varient config can work without the task list.
Now just let me knoe what is class type selected while creating the class char.
Make sure that its 300 & not 005
Assign the same class char to Material master.
Hi Sujit,
I have used the class type 300 while creating the class characteristics.
The class ch. is assigned to MIC and both upper and lower limits are being selected.
The MIC is used in the Inspection plan.
The production confirmation is done using MFBF t.Code with 131 movement type and 04 inspection type.
In 04 inspection type, the indicator 'Inspect by configuration' is selected.
