EWM Output Types

Folks,

Can you please provide me details about what kind of output types are used in EWM and the configuration required for that.

For example all WM printing is a part of the OMLV transaction code and we usually have either a transfer order picklist or custom barcoded labels.

What are the different types of outputs used in EWM.Do we get labels for every putaway so where is it trigerred from and picklist for waves and warehoue tasks. How is this ur

Hi,

EWM uses a framework call Post Processing Framework (PPF) to determin the triggering of outputs. It practice is a much more complicated than output determination in ERP and I would suggest you start with SAP documentation descibing the PPF framework.

In essence it is possable to determine and trigger printed smartform or PDF documents from any of the EWM processes. In practice also be prepaired to use the availble BADi's to achieve a real world working system.
