We are using an APO 5.1 system connected via CIF to ECC.
We have created PP/DS planned orders.
These are appearing in ECC with basic start and end dates, but not with detailed scheduling data for the operations.
Is this expected behaviou?
Thanks for any advice on this...
Hi Group APO,
In ECC, Planned orders will only have basic start and end dates. Also, it will not have any information related to the operations involved for that order.
Planned order is always a result of basic scheduling and not the detailed scheduling.
Once you convert in production order, it will have all the information like operations details and detail scheduling dates.
So, this is Expected behavior.

Hi Group APO,
As Nanda rightly said, the basic things to check in regard to scheduling data is as follows:
1) Specify Scheduling Parameters in ECC-Transaction Code-OPU3-Ensure relevant settings are maintained for the combination of plant and Order Type.
2)Whereas in T Code -OPU5, In addition to the above settings, you can maintain the following details like
1) Long Term Planning
2) Adjust Scheduling
3) Scheduling Control for detail scheduling
4) and Reduction eg: Maximum Reduction level.
Thanks

Hi,
Check in ECC whether proper scheduling parameters is defined OPU3(am not sure OPU5) .
Check whether detailed scheduling is defined.
Check whether capacity reqmts to be generated is enabled in the operation control key.
These are the few areas where you can look,
Thanks,
