Query as a web service in BO

HI,

I have a query in BI and want to make some sample dashboard in Xcelsius. I have created a Universe by creating a new connection(SAP) and saved it.And next went on Query as a web service in query tab am trying to design the query and see the preview but its throwing the database error.

Can someone explain in detail how to call a Universe into Query as a web service and design it and see the preview.

Because I think the way I designed fields was not correct.

Are you saying that the error is at the universe level?

If so, work on it in Webi first then replicate the Webi query via QaaWS.

Sorry for late,

Actually the problem is in QAAWS. I can see the Universe created in QAAWS but when try to see the output bydropping the fields into the output box in QAAWS then I am getting the data base error WIS : 10901

Actually I want to know how to design the output of the query(Universe) called in QAAWS.

I know what you want.

I want to establish that the universe works correctly before you start blaming QaaWS.

Build the same query in Webi and see if it works!
