Hi all
In the existing function module in the export tab we have added one new field .
In order to replicate this field into NWDS i had re imported the Model .
But when i am trying to reimport the model
i am getting an error with some information
error :An internal error has occurred .See error log for more details .
pluginName :webdynpro Model Editior
PluginID:Com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeleditior
Class:com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeleditior.ModelEditiorCallBack
Method:ReimportModel
Message:An error occured .See error log for more details .
Exception:java.lang.NullPointerException:NULL
Can you please guide me to get out of this error and why the model is not getting reimported .
Thanks in Advance
Deepika

Hi Deepika,
Once you re-import the model, you should get a message window showing what are the new fields added. After that you have to edit context binding between model and component controller and similarly with view controller. you have to had the field to each context manually. then deploy and run the application.
it might be because you imported the model but dint do the context binding.
hope it helps.

Hi Deepika,
1.You can check for the function module in SAP R/3 whether its remote enable or not.
2. while trying import the model, Check whether your NWDS is importing the model from the correct client
3.Try to import a model(some different model which is remort enable ) from R/3 and check whether you are able to import or not.
Please look at this forum. This Help full for you;
I hope this is help full for you,
