Dear All,

We are planning to install another instance on same server so what care should be taken care?

Right now PI DEV(ABAP+JAVA) is already installed on HP-UX IA64 with oracle 10G and mount point is as follow-:

/

/stand

/var

/usr

/usr/sap/trans

/usr/sap/SID

/tmp

/sapmnt/SID

/oracle

/oracle/stage/102_64

/oracle/client

/oracle/SID

/oracle/SID/saptrace

/oracle/SID/sapreorg

/oracle/SID/sapdata4

/oracle/SID/sapdata3

/oracle/SID/sapdata2

/oracle/SID/sapdata1

/oracle/SID/sapcheck

/oracle/SID/sapbackup

/oracle/SID/origlogB

/oracle/SID/origlogA

/oracle/SID/oraarch

/oracle/SID/mirrlogB

/oracle/SID/mirrlogA

/oracle/SID/102_64

/opt

/home

/dump

now we are planning to install PIQUA on same server and (SID-:PQ1) planning to create mount point as follows-:

/usr/sap/PQ1

/sapmnt/PQ1

/oracle/PQ1

/oracle/PQ1/saptrace

/oracle/PQ1/sapreorg

/oracle/PQ1/sapdata4

/oracle/PQ1/sapdata3

/oracle/PQ1/sapdata2

/oracle/PQ1/sapdata1

/oracle/PQ1/sapcheck

/oracle/PQ1/sapbackup

/oracle/PQ1/origlogB

/oracle/PQ1/origlogA

/oracle/PQ1/oraarch

/oracle/PQ1/mirrlogB

/oracle/PQ1/mirrlogA

/oracle/PQ1/102_64

so mount point is ok? is any additinal requirement is there? and is there any need to increase space in current mount points?

Ketan Kapadi

Hi,

Mount points seems to be fine. Please make sure that you have sufficient resources on the server to run 2 PI systems.

Thanks
