JMS Adapter Issue

Hello XI Experts,

We are currently having an issue with JMS Adapter in SAP XI and we are reaching out to you for help in our project.

We have followed the SAP documentation and configured JMS Adapter Sender Communication Channel in SAP XI (3.0) for use with WebSphere MQ (5.3 CSD12).

We've configured properties in communication channel and also deployed WebSphere MQ JMS drivers to J2EE Engine per SAP documentation.

However, when we go to Adapter Monitor in Runtime Workbench to check the status, we see the following error:

"Sender channel. Details: MQJMS2008: failed to open MQ queue"

Has anyone seen this error when configuring JMS adapter with WebSphere MQ? Is there any configuration step we are missing here?

Hi,

The main reason for this error may be due to invalid destination. Just check whether the queue name and other parameters are proper.

Can you provide more information on the linked exception from the adapter engine log.

MQJMS2008 wont help much as the linked / underlying exception would give the actual reason for failure. You could also check the log on MQ side.
