Finding Webdynpro component in SRM portal page

Former Member

Hi,

I have my SRM 7.0 system setup with users configured with standard roles - Employee, Manager, Operational purchaser, Startegic purchaser.

I login to the portal page and do shopping transactions through any of these users. I want to find the webdynpro component of the current page.Right clicked to get More field Help, but it shows "No Help Available".

Am I missing any portal user configuration or is there any role issue? Please help.

Hi,

If the user has developer authorizations then probably you would get the link to display the webdynpro component etc. Try assigning developer authorizations.

Thanks Prasanna,

Do we need Portal developer role or the one in SU01 to be assigned?

Hello,

You should assign developer role in SU01 of SRM and not in portal.

Hello Prasanna,

Could you detail which specific role should be assigned in SU01? I've tested it with several roles for my portal user and I can't find the technical help from fields.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

This issue is not connected with role... Something to do with your netweaver, ask your netweaver consultant about the same..

Thanks!!
