Hi Guys,

I forget the concept.

How can we display the external URL in same window? If we use external window it will open new window and displays.

I want to display that url in source window only.

Regards

Srinivas

we can navigate back to the source/main window. its a general property of the explorers.

Is there any way to replace the current window URL?

Any ideas guys?

my scenario is am trying to display section 24 details (infotype 584 ) in portal by below way.

Created a view, with buttons change and display. In display button action i have called the below URL with external window method.

http://XXXXXXXXXX/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*pa30%20RP50G-PERNR=4;RP50G-choic=584;RP50G...

Here I want to display window in same window instead of external window.

NOTE: Guys i am trying to display in portal , not in R3. ( Somehwere I heard , in portal suspend and resume plugs will not work ).

Regards

Srinivas

Hi Srinivas,

if you are using linktourl to open new url, it always opens URL in external window...

and suspend and resume are not released for portal.
