Easy Cost Planning

Hi All,

When I create the Easy Cost Plan with a Planning Form and save it, the planned values are not appearing in the initial screen of easy cost plan against the WBS. What can be the reason for this?. I have entered characteriscs, structured the model entry screen andassigned characteristic to costing model and also defined the derivation rule.

Hi Mohan,

Are you getting any errors? Generally when you press the "confirm" button in the easy cost planning template, if there is any issue, system will throw an error message. Please let us know the error message number. There are many possibilities for this error. One is that system may not be able to get the prices of materials and activity types mentioned int he derivation rules. Please check that material prices exist for the plant / as per the settings of costing variant and valuation variant. Also please check, if activity type rates are mentioned against the cost center.

Also Please go to SHow/Hide Item view and int eh costing items, make manual entries and confirm. If the cost is updated, then you need to check the derivation rule. ( Check for activation as well )
