RFC Connection - ECC 6.0 & SCM 7.0

I need detailed instructions on on to etablish the RFC Connections between ECC 6.0 & SCM 7.0 IDES Systems?

Hi,

You are required to do the following settings in ECC

- Name the logical system

- Assign logical system to client

- Set up RFC connection

- Assign RFC Connection to different application cases

- Set Target system and Queue Type

- Activate ALE pointer for data transfer

- Activate ALE pointer for message type

In APO

You should also do the this setting apart from the above mentioned setting

- Maintained Business System Group and Distribution Function.
