Erro while using Password Self Service {PSS} in SAP GRC 5.3

Dear ALL,

I am facing an error for some users when users are using PSS{password self service}

The authentication system for SAP GRC 5.3 SP 14 is LDAP {active directory}.

When some users login in GRC for PSS using their AD id and password , GRC system gives a message

"*Permissions

You are not authorized to access this screen; contact your system administrator*"

Please let me knw the root cause for the same.

Hi Ajit,

Is the LDAP connect test successful??

I see some issue with the LDAP connection. Check the LDAP connection settings again and ensure that the user path and group path in LDAP connecter settings are left blank.

If the issue still persists, check the DEBUG mode which may give you some information. You can also paste the log file content here to assist you further.

The issue is resolved Now.

In CUP, for the setting :

Number of unsuccesful attempts after which User is locked = 10

The user when reaches the above limit will get an errror " You are not authorized .....etc "
