How to configure WebChannel for MDM7.1?

Gurus:

We need to configure WebChannel for MDM7.1(DEV), then transport the configuration data.

I have done resaerch on SMP but in the instguides there is related info.

Could you please giev some hints how to do it or point to some blogs?

Are you looking for accessing MDM 7.1 through the means of URL ? As in If you are looking to manage a kind of scenario for master data.

Laura -

EP - MDM Integration is a kind of Central master data management scenario. Here EP (Web Channel) will act as front end, from there you will able to do the operations like Add, Delete of records, Infact many more.

MDM system will be act like backend system. eveything you are doing with your web channel will get update in MDM box.

The standrad business package which are required to be deployed on EP for working with MDM and EP integration provides you with all the standard functionalities of MDM that can be enabled through EP.In short all the basic work that you can do on the MDM client (data manager) at backend can be done on EP front end.
