Hi,
We have developed custom Web Dynpro Java application for Creating Travel Request, according to our needs, We used standard Travel WF, with few customizations, My query is, we have given a facility to Create a Travel Request and after entering all the details Employee can Save as Draft for later submission. Problem is we are able to Save as Draft the trip without triggering the wrokflow, also with help of Standard BAPI we are able to store all details in Standard Travel Tables as well as Z Tables created by us. But now problems we are facing is, If Employee wants to change the Travel Details again before Final Submission, he/she will be able to change but, the problem is, the changes are not reflected in all Travel Standard tables.
We cannot use the Create Trip Bapi again because we already have Created a Trip and received a Reinr (Trip Number) from that BAPI.
My question is can I use the same BAPI to modify Trip Data without changing the status or is there any other BAPI available to achieve my purpose. I tried few BAPI's but the efforts are gone in vain because I dont want to change the FTPT_REQ_HEAD - STATUS = 0, I still want the Trip to be in Open, because still employee had not submitted it for approval. I want to keep the Trip in OPEN state but on top of that I want to update all the Standard Tables which are actually updated when I called very first time the FITP_CREATE_TRIP_FROM_REQUEST.
Please let me know, If I can use the same FM to change the Travel data without changing the Status in FTPT_REQ_HEAD.
Thanks a Ton.

Tushar Shinde.
Hello Tushar,
We don't have an official released BAPI for requests. We only
offer 1 released Badi for expenses: bapi_trip_create_from_data. Maybe this can help you.
