Generic Conflict with 11724962

Hi All,

I am apply SBP SAP_102053_201107,

I ran pre-requisite check as per patch instruction.

If you want to ensure that this SBP does not conflict with non-SAP-recommended patches, you can do so as follows while the database instance is up and running:

$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch prereq CheckConflictAgainstOHWithDetail \

-phBaseDir SAP_102053_201107

after reviewing the log opatch2011-07-29_10-24-21AM.log, I found following conflicts

INFO:Patch 12370411 has Generic Conflict with 11724962

INFO:Patch 12370452 has Generic Conflict with 11724962

INFO:Patch 12530584 has Generic Conflict with 11724962

INFO:Patch 9368502 has Generic Conflict with 11724962

INFO:Patch 9386687 has Generic Conflict with 11724962

Bit lost from this point, where to go from here, because these are oracle patches, not sure if there is any sap notes out there can help.

Hi Rizwan,

Could you check patch 11724962 applied for what purpose? Does it recommended by SAP?

As far as I know, there are no conflicting patch as long as we use mopatch for fresh installation and/or updating oracle previously updated using mopatch.

Not sure about sapnote regarding this, I would recommend you to open customer message to Global Support in parallel.
