I cant connect to SAP IDES (Virtual Machine) from client machine

Hi,

I installed SAP IDES 6.00 in a Virtual Machines W2003r2. When I try to connect from other machine to SAPIDES through SAPGUI, the client show "partner SAPIDES:sapdp00" not reached.

The client machine has ping with server machine (Virtual Machine). I updated my host file too, but nothing, the connection is refused.

My doubt is, SAP IDES allow remote conections?. I need modify my configuration?

Hi Nicolas,

Is the system up and running - as per the status in SAP MMC? Are you able to access the system directly from the server?

Also could you try to connect to the system using the IP address.

Goto Start -> Run -> type 'sapgui <IP Address> 00'

Check if the above works.
