Redeliver after returns

HI,

Can we redeliver the goods after the returns from the same sales order?

Scenario:

Sales order has been fully delivered and billed. Customer found material is not upto the standard and returned. Return process has been done. Now, we need to make the new delivery. Can we do this new delivery from the Original sales order or do we have to create a new sales order for this?

You have to create new sales order with reference to original sales order and then delivery

It will not allow from create delivery from original because you already delivered that

Hi,

Sales Order

Delivery to customer

Invoice to Customer

Customer finds the goods are not up to the standard.Returns the Goods,

Create Return order with reference to Invoice. Change the Quantity accordingly to the exact returned quantity.

Create Return Delivery with reference to return order. Delivery Type "LR".

Do a Post goods receipt the get the stock in your return storage location.

Hello Student,

We cannot redeliver from the ORGINAL sales order , since we have delivered them, and invoiced.

Now we have created a return order.

Based on this return order, we will have to deliver (this is the re-delivery in your case).

Now, alternatively, you can cancel the invoice (orginal), reverse the PGI, delete the delivery, then again deliver the sales order (ORGINAL sales order)... but this will not give you the track that the goods were returned due to bad quality.

Hi there:

To re-deliver the goods which had been returned means that you want to sell these goods/re-send free goods to your customer, so under that circumstance, you have to create a brand new sales order referred to original one, it could be free and it could be with full sales price.Hope it helps.
