Error while trying to Activate request in NWDS

Hello,

I am getting below error when I try to activate a request in NWDS.

Activation failed: CBS Server Error: The compartment for given software component is being initialized(internal code:BS_SC_META_DATA_NOT_AVAILABLE)

Ervin I dont\ know why these strange things happens with me again and again...

But wehen I restarted the NWDS...and then Activated my activity...this error was all gone....I was ablr to activate the activity..

However, I will check this SAP note...and see if this has to do anything...

Hi,

can you please then install an NWDS which better matches to the server side (nwdi)? I mean NWDS 702 SP3.

Let me know if using that version you face such issues.

as I remember from an other thread of yours your NWDS was 7.02.02. I guess you meant by this NWDS 700 EHP2 SP2, but can you please just copy paste the full version here in the way as displayed on NWDS's about page?

hi,

Can you please tell me the version of your NWDI (on http://<host>:<port>/monitoring/ComponentInfo) send me the lines:

DI_CBS, DI_CMS, DI_DTR.

Eventually i you would decide to make an attempt to reinstall your NWDS (perhaps the installation was corrupt in some way)then consider -- before you start the new installation -- that you have cleaned up the filesystem manually. I.e. do not just start the installer again, but remove the previous one completely.
