Can i assign a view (say, my_view) as a default view for a window?

Hello

Can i assign a view (say, my_view) as a default view for a window (say, my_window)? if so, where i should put my_view, is it while designing/defining my_window? pls. let me klnow

hi

You can assign a view as a default view to window.

Double click on your window name in your component hierarchy tree,

now on right hand side expand your window ,

if your desired view is there, just right click on it and select " set as default".

if your desired view is not there, just drag and drop your desired view on window. Now right click on that view and select set as default.

If i want to check an other exisitng WD componenet's window's DEFAULT VIEW, how can i know it? i want to know the assigned view as a default for a window?

Same process,

Open the standard component, in component can have several windows.

first find out exact window, double click on application , now on right hand side you will find the " INTERFACE VIew" value, that is the default window name,

now open that window>>> on right handside expand window>>>just select the view,on below view properties default check box wil be checked .

Otherwise , just right click on view,if it is default view... set as default option would be disable.
