Dear SAP experts,
Our company is using SRM 7, and we see that there is a new feature while responding to RFx where the bidder can click button 'participate' and 'not participate'. Is it possible for us to set that the bidder is mandatory to click either those buttons n days before starting date? Because if not then what is the use of having 'Not participate' function as it will be the same by not submitting any bid as well.
John.

Hi Jay Yang,
Thanks for the reply. Actually I have seen the post which link you post in your reply. However my question is not regarding the functionality of this button, rather to is it possible for us to make the button mandatory to be selected n days before the starting date?
If not, then what will make the vendor to click this button? If he doesnt want to participate he can just let the time reach end date without doing nothing which will have the same impact with clicking not participate.
Best regards,
John

To a certain extend, yes. You could implement BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for BUS2202. Validate the time frame, e.g. your <n> day before starting date and whether that bidder has clicked on any of the the bid intent buttons (BBP_PDS_PARTNER >> BIDINTENT_IND field is set or not in the RFx document). However, there is no guarantee at all if the bidder is going to even launch the RFx for bidding within that <n> days before starting date. If they don't, would you like to prevent them from submitting a bid? It would all depend on your business requirement.
