Detail Reports disabled on the spend (Global) Measure

Hi,

In our report we have following dimensions:

Category

Supplier

Source System Supplier

Source System

Cost Center

GL Account

and Spend (Global) as a measure.

We are not able to see the detail Invoice Report for records as the option is coming out to be disabled in the SPM UI.

Kindly suggest how to access detail report in such scenario and what are the criteria to run detail reports in the SPM UI.

Hi Rohit,

Out of those dimensions, one has hierarchy (Category). Can we go to detail report if we have hierarchy dimension in the report?

Also Alaap you cannot jump to a detail report from a hierarchy node, you have to be at the leaf level to jump.

Hi Rohit,

Out of those dimensions which we used in the report, only one was Navigational Attribute (Supplier). Rest of the dimensions are master data infoobject.

We tried to get detail report by excluding the supplier still that "Detail Report" option was greyed out.

I rechecked the report and there were none characteristics in the report having not assigned value. Still the Detail Report option was greyed.

Hi Alaap,

If you have any 'Navigational Dimension' in your report you will not be able to jump to detail reports.

Hi Alaap,

If you see the "Detail Reports" text as greyed out in the Spend (Global) measure context menu, this is probably because you have a "not assigned" value in one of your characteristics.

You cannot open a detail report for any key figures that have associated "not assigned" characteristic values.

To get round this, remove any characteristics that have not assigned values.

If there is no option at all for "detail reports" then you can maintain these in Administration -> Analysis Administration -> measure properties.
