'Source of quotation was deleted in supplier system' affect what?

hi expert

we use SRM7.0

we create PO from Quotation, and if we change the PO quantity, a warning message appeared 'Source of quotation was deleted in supplier system'

i check the status of quotations and RFx which used bidder's account login. i cannot find any effect .

please tell me what's mean of this warning message?

There are only a handful of reasons why this warning message occurs such as the following examples -

1. the vendor/bidder of the quote has been deleted

2. you have added/changed referencing contract in the SC/PO

3. you simply changed the quote relevant fields, quantity, unit of measure, deletion indicator, price or price unit, in your PO

Likely it is because of the 3rd reason. And it is just a warning message. No real effect on the status of quote or PO. I'd think this message text is misleading.
