Error in db13 SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE failed

Hi

I have ecc6 ehp4 with oracle on windows this is cluster environment, I have installed standalone gateway on node2 successfully as per note 657999 and its up & running

When I keep db and application on separate nodes I cannot schedule any job in db13 I am getting error as below

Job started

Step 001 started (program RSDBAJOB, variant &0000000000039, user ID TABRAYZ)

Execute logical command BRCONNECT On host SAPFNP

Parameters: -u / -jid CHECK20110727155211 -c -f check

Can't exec external program (No such file or directory)

WaitForSingleObject failedwith %d (No such deviceor address)

SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE failed for BRCONNECT - Reason: unknown

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Please help me guys.

thanks guys problem solved issue was sxpg rfc it was pointing towards phyical host instead of virtual host

Thanks for quick response, yes i have checked it ,and my RFC is also working fine

SAPXPG_DBEST_VIRTUALHOST RFCworking fine target hostname i have given virtual hostname.

It must be a problem with your env variables, check that you can call brconnect from <sid>adm on your host...

Hi,

there are two things that you need to make sure:

1) Make sure your RFC for sxpg should run on gateway host of virtual db in SM59.

2) Please make sure that you should have set additional env variable as per SAP note 378648 for user <sid>adm.

Have you checked this SAP Note 446172 - SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE (program_start_error) in DB13. It seems your RFC is not working.
