Indicator for Relevancy to Costing to be unchecked by default

Hi Gurus

I am using network costing in our scenario. I am using material planning field on assignment tab of the internal activity of the network in project for planning material cost. For generating automatic PR from the network, whenever I am attaching any material to network activity, indicator for relevancy to costing is checked by default. I want to make this indicator unchecked or un-ticked by default.

Can anybody guide me how to achieve this?

Hi Bharat,

I must unfortunately inform you that this is the standard behaviour. The indicator "costing relevant" is always set to default "on".

The only exceptions are:

Flag RESB-SANKA is not set for components in non-valuated project

stock. In addition RESB-SANKA is not set when networks are used

for planning (see network customizing transaction OPSC).

For some components SANKA is not set, even in the case for example

of valuated project stock or plant stock. These are:

text items,

preliminary procured components in valuated proj. stock

planned independent requirements

bulk material

parts provided.

This list should provide some hints, when SANKA is not set by the system. Could you please review note 533207 which lists all pros & cons of valuated/non-valuated project stock?

I think you will need to use BADI for doing the same. There is no std way of doing it.
