server performance slow using sql server 2005

Dear Team,

Kindly assist me in solving the performance issue .

The server is very slow and it is taking more time.,

SAP version details:

- SAP ECC 6.0 sr3 version.

-DB SQl server 2005.

performance is very slowi,ts is taking time to execute the Transactions.

Dear Team,

the issue is solved

Go to sql managment studion and click SID properties-data files --> initialize the space (increase the space) .datbase DATA files.

in the files TAB: Datafiles:

I suggest you check on the server the "SQL Server Online books" - or search the internet. You use Enterprise Manager for that.

Please use ST03 & STAD to check where exactly the time is more.

There could be several reasons for slow perfromance.

Hi,

Please look into the following

1) Use MSSQL Enterprise manager to check free space availability in Datafiles as well as log files. In case of issues add space.

2) Use Tcode ST06 to check upon physical memory availability and I/O performance

3) Use Tcode St02 to check upon SAP buffer configuration.
