Hi All,

We have installed SUP 2.0 Evaluation version for carrying out a POC. Are there any documents/ info available on linking SUP 2.0 to the ECC / CRM backend? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Mohammed,

SUP allows you to connect to SAP servers and consume BAPIs and RFC enabled functions modules. The SAP Java Connector (JCo) has to be installed first. Download SAP JCo 2.1.9 from http://service.sap.com/connectors and unzip the file. Make sure the Sybase Unwired Workspace is closed and copy the files contained in the zip to the following locations :

librfc32.dll and sapjcorfc.dll into :
            1. <WINDOWS_HOME>\System32
            2. \Servers\UnwiredServer\lib
            3. \JDK1.6.0_16\bin
sapjco.jar into :
            1. \Unwired_workspace\Eclipse\sybase_workspace\mobile\eclipse\plugins\com.sybase.uep.com.sap.mw.jco_1.5.<version>\lib
            2. \Servers\UnwiredServer\lib\3rdparty

After this from the SUP workspace's Enterprise explorer, you can very well create a connection profile to SAP.

Thanks and regards,

Yes, For connecting with the ERP you need jco libraries for the Connection establishment better refer the Sybase infocenter

Sybase 2.0->System Administartion->Component Deployment->EIS connections...

You can find all information in the http://infocenter.sybase.com

For Creating the SAP Connection Navigate to

Sybase Unwired Platform 2.0 > Sybase Unwired WorkSpace - Mobile Business Object Development > Configure > Configure - Eclipse Development Environment > Creating a Data Source Connection Profile
