Hi
I created an RFC Destination of type T from the XI server pointing to SRM. After creating it when I click on the Connection Test, I get these details.
Status HTTP Respone 500
Status Text Empty HTTP Request Received
Duration Test call 58ms
I do not get an OK next to Status Test. I am not able to figure out what it means? Is the RFC Destination ok? Or are there any errors with the password and all ?
Regards
Radhika

This shows your RFC connection works correctly. THe connection is established and sending empty request to SRM.
HTTP code 401: Unauthorized then you need to check basic authentication credentials like username and password. You are not getting 401 error here.

Radhika Shetty,
Baskar Gopal is right.
You have successfully conected to the target system, but you haven't sent an GET or POST message. So the system successfully sent you back an error saying. "Yo man! I speak HTTP and you've sent me nothing!!"

Hi Radhika,
if you are using
No logon. The server program does not require you to enter a user and password.
Basic Authentication. The server program requires you to enter a user and password.
Check user name ,password is correct in RFC destination if the external HTTP server requires user credentials.
