we used SRM 7.0.

part of a SC item carried out sourcing , another part can be sourcing too?

for example , SC item 01 which include 1000 pc A.

1st, we create RFx reference item 01 with 600 pc A

2ed, can we create another RFx with remaining 400pc A ??

I don't think your scenario is offered by standard SRM sourcing functionality. Sourcing cockpit would not let you create "partial quantity" follow-on document. Even if you create the follow-on document, e.g. RFx or PO draft and change the quantity to be less than originally in the SC item, the whole SC item is already marked as a whole as not sourcing relevant (PO case) or RFQ created, which means you can't source the item any more, even though you have left over quantity on it.

i test this scenario.

1st , i create SC: 100 matA

2ed, carry oout sourcing ,create PO with part of material: 60 matA

3rd after carry out programme'CLEAN_REQREQ_UP'.

4th the remaing quantity 40 matA appear in the sourcing cockpit.

so , the key point is the programme 'Clean_reqreq_up'

Hi Claud,,

Jay is absolutely right. You cant source the item even if you have left over quantities. Infact I was curious to try out your scenario and for me it did not work out like you mentioned. Once I created a PO for 60, I could not find the SC back in SOCO for the remaining 40. Wondering how you managed it.
