SPAM ERROR

Dear Gurus,

I am Applying Support Packages in SRM 5.0.While Applying Basis Support Package i got the following below Error.

Runtime Errors: SYNTAX_ERROR

DATE AND END TIME: ---

Short Text: Syntax Error in Program "SAPLPA_PACKAGE_SERVICES"

What Happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP Program "SAPLSFW_COMMON" had to be terminated because it has come across statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLPA_PACKAGE_SERVICES" in include "LPA_PACKAGE_SERVICE$25" in line 13.

"The type "TPCHK_FROZEN_OBJECTS_H" is unknown.

Can anyone help me out regarding the same.

I will be really thankful for the help.

Hi,

Was the Patch completed successfully or you are getting this error in middle ?

If it get stuck in middle reset SPAM queue with OCS_QUEUE _RESET function module and then from start from begining.

Let us know the result.

Hi,

Check the logs in SPAM.

I guess that there is a problem in a transport request that not release.Please check it.

Dear All,

I am not able to login in to the SPAM t-code after applying the support package-SAPKB70013.

As i am entering the SPAM t-code i am automatically getting out of it with error and i am not able to see the Long Text also.

Kindly help me in this.

Hi,

If you not able to run the t.code of SPAM then its very critical issue..

As per my views you have to contact SAP support to solve this issue , and the other way is to restore a backup.

Dear Ajitabh,

Before restore the backup we need to check some points :-

1. Login at OS level and check the slog and alog in usr/sap/<SID>/trans/log and paste.

2. run SM37 and check any background job is running or not ?

3. Go to SM12 and check the lock objects and delete .

try to restart SPAM.

Also in las before restore the SAP , go to PAT01 , PAT03 and PAT10 table and delete the support pack entries (it is not recommanded but you can try before restore)

Hi Ajitabh,

please check and provide the transport import log, SLOG and ALOG error part and send the error lines.

Might be the error comes due to some configuration or update issue.

What is the Patch number you are applying and how did you defined your queue?

hey Subhash thanks for your reply.

The Patch number is SAPKB70013.SAR

As normally define packages in queue.

I have loaded only one package in queue..

Hi,

Are the dumps continously coming in the ystem ?

In that case u will have to apply SPAM through OS level, using tp commmand.

let me know if u have any questions reg that.
