MII Queue monitor Trace does not always show selected document

Former Member

I am using the Queue monitor Trace option to view the message request document. This document is normally shown in a separate browser screen (IE). Sometimes this fails. The browser screen is openend but the document does not appear (IE shows "not responding").

I have to close the screen the hard way and login to MII again.

Does anyone know what can cause this?

The message was first posted on the MII forum, but moved it to ME.

regards Frank

Hello Frank,

Could you please post a default trace here for the timestamp which covers the problem? It may help us to understand if some timeout value shold be adjusted.

Alex.

Hi Alex,

I am not sure why you mean. Could you explain in more detail what you want me to post?

Hi Frank,

I want to check if there are any errors in the default trace file (see SAP Note #1266339).

Regards,

Alex.

Hi Alex,

I know what you mean now.

Reproduced the error and checked the default trace. There are no entries in the trace for that timestamp.

I checked the settings of the log configuration (as mentioned in the note) and these are okay. We see other errors in the trace, so I think the trace is working fine.

Hi Frank,

I would suggest creating OSS message, so SAP Support can check the issue on your side.

Alex.
