Import Abap Stage

Hi Expert ,

Please Forgive , If I am in wrong category I am student , please forgive me , if i am asking stupid question . I am installing ECC 6 , i am facing problem in Import Abap Stage , It has completed 12 Out of 19 and it showing 7 failed , and because of failed it giving me error . So what could be the possible error solution what should i do

One firend suggest me to increase SGA of Oracle , is it true m if that so from where increase the size of Shared Pool Size in Oracle and what value should be set

Please help me in

Hi,

Without logs of the phases which got failed, there is nothing we can suggest you. Please paste logs.

Hi,

You have pasted log of SAPPOOL.log. But please paste log of other packages because this package import will be successful when previous packages will be imported successfully.

This error has been reported and resolved here on the forum, just search for ORA-04031.

Hi,

To Check SGA size the query would be

show parameter sga_max_size

To increase it, shutdown your database and change the value in pfile, now create spfile from pfile and startdb.

If you are not able to do this, stop installation, restart OS, ensure that listner is started and launch sapinst and continue with old installation.

...you can for example open a browser window, open google and enter "sap oracle increase shared pool"
