Order Collaboration & Bid Collaboration in same SUS client

Hello Gurus,

We have installed SRM 7.0 SPS10 sandbox and currently in Blueprint

phase of the project.

Our SRM Sandbox consists of 2 systems

1. SRM-Portal (Only Java stack) NW 701

2. SRM-ABAP (Only ABAP stack)

Now SRM-ABAP system consists of 2 clients:

a) Client 100 SRM-EBP (Purchasing)

b) Client 200 SRM-SUS (Supplier Self Service)

Now, we want to know whether we can perform both Order Collaboration

(POs, Ord Ack, etc.) and Bid Collaboration (RFx, Bids, etc.) in the

same client of SUS.

Our question is related to SUS only and not about EBP.

Please explain how we can acheive that.

We are already aware about note 573383.

Hi Bhushan,

Without SRM 7 (Ehp1) this is not possible. The bidding engine is part of SRM application and hence you wont be able to create bids from SUS.

However the same supplier(provided he exists in SRM and SUS) can be given bidder role as well as Order collaboration/dispatcher roles so that for the supplier it is a single interface through which he does everything. Based on different roles, the supplier can choose the function he wishes to carry out.

We are going with SRM 7.01 (i.e EHP1) to solve our issue.
