Error while installting Livecache

Hi,

I am installting SCM7.01SR1 system.

I ahve completed CI installation,while installing Livecache i facing below error:

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/L7S/db inst_reg: Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database (no dbname):

/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli -R /sapdb/L7S/db inst_reg: Reading header from pipe:closed by serv

installation exited abnormally

Please suggest.

Issue was solved after changing the owenership and permissions of data and programs directory in /sapdb/L7S

Hello Manish C,

1. Please update with output of the following commands:

sdbregview -l

xinstinfo

uname -a

2. Please run as root user:

cd /sapdb/programs/bin

./sdbverify

and update with output.
